Just picked up an old pair of yoko pants with with ncy patches and the name tommy stiched in them. I know Tommy Clowers rode for them in 93-94 ish but they used extreme gear. Any help would be appreciated

That’s what I was thinking but I’m not sure if he was riding for them that early on. I know Tyson vohland rode for them in 92 but that’s about all I could find

I found this shot of Clowers' 94 YZ on Tony Blazier's Flickr page. Looks like you might have some real deal pants.

Good question. I was wondering the same thing when I saw them on eBay. I assumed they belonged to Clowers, but like you said, I’ve only ever seen him in Xtreme gear when riding for NCY. I couldn’t find any record of him wearing YOKO gear.

They’re cool pants. I love the colors.

Yeah it looks like the team wore yoko in the 91-92 era. The only pics I could find was Tyson vohland with the yoko gear. I just don’t know who else was on the team in those years. I found a pic of clowers on a privateer Kawasaki in 92 so who knows lol. I didn’t even notice the name on the pants when I bought them I just had to have them. I have been a ncy freak since I had the graphics on my yz80. Loved those ncy bikes

I'm not sure. All I remember was that there was a kid named Josh Tarantino who was their main up and coming 80 rider in 93/94. He was in their ads in MXA but I don't remember hearing anything of him on big bikes.

Buckelew was always #58

These NCY bikes were so badass, back in 1994 I went to Donny Hansen Motocross Academy and all the rental bikes they used were NCY built yamahas. We drove down from Idaho with my KX80 but my bike broke on the last day and Donny was kind enough to let me ride the schools YZ80 which was Josh Hansens practice bike! It was the most bitchin thing my young eyes had ever seen! FMF/Varner built motor, pipe, suspension, etc. The thing was insane!

I agree. I had these graphics on my yz80. I was absolutely in love with them since a couple fast kids around nor Nevada rode for ncy. Only had the graphics on my 80 but that was good for a couple seconds per lap lol

I think Dana Wiggins was there early 90s, but it might have been dgy. Metzger definitely, Matiasevich, and I want to say Jimmy button but don't remember.

I had one of Donald upton's bike from 94. It was a beast! I still have the triple clamp with ncy and chicken inscribed in it from Jeff matasevich's yz 250
