There are a huge amount of finely detailed resto's being done and displayed here in this forum. Works of vintage rolling art.
My question is........do those who are building these bikes intend to race them?
With all the work and effort, it's got to be a tough decision whether to race or show.
Thanks for sharing your builds with everyone!

Ride'em don't hide'em!!!!
The Shop
My definition of a restore is to buy the same bike for the fourth time, at a higher price each time, and putting it back on the stand in the same location in the barn!
So my dumb azz is tellin you to ride your dirt bike and I should take my vette to tail of the dragon.
Both prob will never happen but we both (all of us) need our heads examined.
Kick starters are a bitch from a coffin. And the pearly gates don't care about equity..........
So simple and SOOOO true...
But seriously, I hear what you're saying, but that's the beauty of these bikes. You can have a "carpet cruiser" and a rider(s) without breaking the bank. It was built to be what it is. I did race it at Budds before the restoration.
I"m going to ride this....first complete bottom end I did all by myself... I want to see if it stays together!
I sorta lost my shit over that and they've joked with me ever since.

Some I ride and some I just enjoy building and looking at
My '80 CR250. I'm waiting for a few bits - roller lowering kit and triple clamps from Stevie - then this baby will definitely be getting raced!!
"79 250 being built as a racer. Hope to have this done in about 3 weeks
