yz250 engine parts compatibilty

wondering if anyone can help? i have a yz250 (beleived to be 89 (2vm on cases) with a barrel of unkown year (cylinder head refers to 94 i think (4ew). can anyone confirm these years are correct and also tell me what other years cylinder will fit?. imtrying to find out so i can broaden my horizons when searching for spares, many thanks

I think from memory up to 94 cylinder will fit, 95-97 cylinders have different exhaust mounting.

I have the same in the shed, 2vm bottom end with 4ew cylinder but my bottom end is a WR

These are for 125 & I'm not sure on 250 and may be useless to you but figured id pass it on. Comparing parts #'s @ zilla should answer that?
