Adjustable ignition curves for 2000 kx250?

Is there a way to add a switch so that I can change ignition settings on my old kx? I'm assuming since it has tps on the carb that it also has "3d" ignition mapping? Since I trail ride I'd like to have a switch that would retard timing for less wheelspin when I'm in a slick condition. I have no idea if this is even possible but I saw someone add an ignition adjustment switch to a cr250 on vital and it has me wondering how I can do it. Thanks!

maybe with a vortex cdi, but i dont think ive seen any other with a hot-switchable mapping.
on the vortex, expect to drop 500$ on it as well.

Just add a flywheel weight.

Paw Paw
Already on the list. Be cool to have a button too.

FMF used to sell a non-programmable switch that had a "hot" position and a "torquey" position. They sold at just about that same time frame, too. It would be interesting to see if they still had it.

i had one of those back in the day for my 2001 YZ250....FMF made loads of them and they never sold, mine cost me $50 brand new on close out.
