Hey y’all. I have a built kx250 have gold valves in forks and shock, but half way down the travel the forks bind. Have had multiple shops and suspension guys look at them nothing is bent. Looking to upgrade to possibly a 2013 kxf suspension set up. Has any one done this or know if the forks and shock are bolt on or do I need a different triple tree? Please don’t reply with I put the front wheel on wrong. Thank in advance

You will need the KXF triple clamps from that year. I did this with a set of 09 KX250f forks on my 05 kx250.
I had to weld on some extra steering stop material. About a 1/4 inch each side to get the right amount of turn in on each side. I also pressed out the stem on my kx250 and put it in a set of ride engineering 20mm clamps that are for the 09 250f
That was all the modifications I had to do to get the forks to work.

I didn’t do the shock I just had it revalved and rolled with it.

How much improvement did you get with the 09 forks? And how did the shock compliment the forks?
