14 rmz450 Ssf question

Ok can't gel with the forks. Factory connection took a shot. I tried to reshim myself after I wasn't happy with FC.

Ok I'm either going to do a kyb sss swap and some machining. Just need to know the best year of fork.

Or swap to a dual spring showa. 8 to 12 fork.

My dad hated his on his 13. Sent them to Enzo and they helped him with some set up info after they their work and they were much better. Now he didnt like them as much as the air forks on his 15 and 17, but they were much better after the work done by Enzo.

Anyone know how much to cut from the preload collar. I might try that first. It feels like too much preload. I guess it's common with this fork

I've used a pipe cutter before, it's got to be one that cuts 2" or more in diameter I believe.

Get spring right and tune it; you should not have to cut it. I've done several, and preload was not the issue. My homie and i have adjusted it for enduro.That's extreme east coast woods stuff.
