Hey,
Anyone happen to know much about old suzuki carburetors? I have an 82 rm60z that I’m trying to reassemble. It was picked apart some time ago and is missing a few bits.
The carburetor (mikuni 466 30, I think) needs a needle jet (4J29-3 or 13383-56620 according to google). I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I tried my local suzuki dealer and he told me that they’ve discontinued the part. I seen a moose racing kit for the last rm60, which was a rebadged kx, I’ve been led to believe. I doubt either share the same carb with the 1982 model.
I’m thinking that I may have to just get a new carburetor, but the idea of buying a new carb for the sake of a needle and clip bothers me.
Thanks for your time.

There is also a part called "jet, needle" which is really a fitting for the main jet. That part is 09494-00250, just in case you need it. That one was cancelled in '97, however.
You may be able to find a replacement directly from Mikuni if you ask for needle #4029-3.
