Friend of mine picked up a sweet, clean, 02. Wheels have Michael Byrnes stickers on them, frame has no serial number, just an ama pro sticker with Byrnes number. Seat has Burner written on the underside.

Question, what does he need to look for to confirm the frame being Byrnes Amsoil bike? The wheels feel like mag hubs, no casting marks, dark gray, super smooth finish. FC suspension is still on it, how does he verify its the FC factory suspension?

In other threads people have posted with that ama sticker, they said to call the ama and find out who it was registered to.

Its Byrnes bike. He is trying to find out if the frame and wheels are HRC and if the suspension is the factory stuff Byrne raced on. Being Byrnes bike has been confirmed.

The frame has no serial number. The only stamp on it is KZ3
