2010 yz250f parts identification

My buddy bought a trashed 2010 yz250f and im sure the previous owner had WR parts on it.

What forks and swingarm is that and can that be used on that bike? We also need a front caliper that will fit on this fork.

Those are old style forks, this is the caliper you need:

5XC-2580T-G0-00

Any Yamaha caliper from 2006-2013 will work.

Other brands will also work, but they have different part numbers and I’m too lazy to go looking for them Smile

As for the forks, any set of Yamaha forks from I believe 04 to 13 will interchange, off any Yamaha bike.

The inner tubes should have a diameter of 48mm. You can’t use forks from 14+ since the clamping diameters on the outer tubes changed.

Also buy some swingarm plugs so it doesn’t get packed with mud or water.

I can see if I have a spare caliper sitting around if you’d like, or you can check eBay since there are tons of 250f part outs there.

Whoever you bought that bike from swapped a lot of stuff. The wheels, rear brakes, swingarm are for sure from a older yz not a 2010 250f.Those are the right forks though, they didn’t swap those for some reason . I have a lot of the parts you need off a 2012 250f if you’re interested.
