2017 fc450 reliability?

For people who have experience with this bike or the 450sxf. How well are they holding up? Are they reliable bikes? I'm most likely getting a new bike in a month or two and I'm leaning towards the fc450. Any feedback or advice is appreciated.

20 hours on mine, I know it is not much time, but I have had zero issues.

KTM engines and clutches are bullet proof

Good to know I found one brand new for 7800 otd. Really thinking about getting it.

They are awful. I poured baking soda in the crankcase and the stupid thing stopped working!! Im going to contact Roger Decoster directly about this. I should be able to pour unknown quantities of various substances directly into the engine of my bike without having to worry about it breaking!

I have a 17 450sxf. best bike ive owned. 82hours and the only problem ive had is loose spokes when it was near new. I change the oil every 4 hours and do a oil filter everysecond oil change. Ride alot of sand aswell.

I had 60h on my 2016 and i have 30h on my 2017. Absolutely zero problems, bulletproof.

You should easily get 200+hrs in the motor. Though I run the 350, I have 140hrs in the bike so far and she hasn't missed a beat...

Sorry, I didn't identify that I don't have the Husqvarna, I have the KTM. As for the subframe, my friend has 175hrs on his Husqvarna with the composite subframe and it hasn't been a issue. We also ride offroad so on could argue that we don't ride them quite as hard as someone who rides them on the track. But in our defense, we both race Vet EX and, he's currently 3rd overall in the Province and I'm running both 1st in the Province and 1st in Western Canada. We might not be the fastest but we definitely aren't the slowest either...

The 450 was definitely considered but the problem being is the power can be a bit too much sometimes in the tighter rounds. My last 450 was a 15 Yamaha and I had 220hrs on the bike and equally so it ran flawless the whole time...

Thanks for the info sounds like they are pretty durable bikes and I will most likely be getting the 450 though I'm curious how the 350 performs. I think in the end though I will want the 450 I have the chance to ride the ktm demo at Washougal on the 25th but I don't want this bike to be gone by that time so I'm probably going to get it by that time.
