Hey my Bros!
Any feedback on the Applied Racing R/S Line of Top Clamps? I'm looking at putting one of these on the Project 04 YZ125 to get some oversized bars on the bike.

Let me know, and thanks!

I had their full triple clamp set up on my 08 kx450f. I personally thought they were excellent, and given the price a certain bang for the buck. For a triple clamp that didn't break the bank it was a well machine peice that provided me excellent feedback into the bars. They did not shake my arms into violent arm pump, nor leave me feeling like i was try to steer a wheelbarrrow. I would imagine just the top clamp will provide the same effects.

Cool deal. I appreciate the feedback, thank you. I've always heard good things about their stuff. The cost is right, and once I went with oversized handlebars I never wanted to go back. So this will be good!

People who purchased this clamp, did you use the Rubber, or Solid mount inserts? Tell me your decision as to why you chose the way you did. Thanks

I only have half an hour on an 125 evo bike with Applied RS rubber mounted clamp. Its hard to give a clamp a grade in that amount of time, but initial feeling is very positive. I would like to find torque value for rubber mounted bar mount bolt though, as their site only gives value for solid mounts.

I went with solid, only becasue every rubber mount i've ever used never seems to stay in place even after minor tip-overs. I've had a couple nasty get offs and the bar mounts and bars didnt move and inch with the solids.

Had them on an 06 yz250. Worked great, the rubber mounts did twist a few times in crashes. easy fix tho

Cool deal boys, thanks. I'm familiar with the bars getting a little corky after a crash with all the rubber mounted bars on the Hondas I used to have. I liked the option of this setup being able to switch between rubber and solid. Put the order in with Applied yesterday.
