Put in a search & didn't see any info on this. I'm looking at buying a used 450 that has very low hrs., but the draw back is the original owner has polished the AF to a chrome shinny finish.
Has anybody done the opposite & gone from a shinny finish to the oem satin look ? Through the yrs. I've read on social media about using a 3M red scotch bright pad with WD40 & some elbow grease. Will that get the oem look back or is there other methods that you've used that were effective ?
I've used the red scuff pad with WD40 to touch up the boot areas with good results, but not on a chrome shinny finish, so I don't know if that will work.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thnxz..
