Can you post the average prices for standard stuff like hubs, clutch covers etc?
Just so we know if we're looking at 5$ or 500$ for a certain part.

Any tips to do it at home? Do's and donts
Look it up on youtube. Cerakote came out as a ceramic based paint for gun components but has since been used for a plethora of other things, including bike parts as seen throughout this forum. Really all you need is a paint gun or an air brush with in line water separator, an oven to cure the paint, and obviously the cerakote itself.

How well will it hold up compared to the stock crap on the clutch cover case on a Husky 350?

I was throwing around the idea of having this done to my fork tubes, think it would be do-able, or worth it? Was thinking something like a gunmetal grey just for something different.

Try vinyl decal wrap. Paint will chip, at least with the wrap you can remove it and replace easy/cheap.
