My bike when it is cold (like it was today) it takes FOREVER to finally fire. I know the whole “warming the battery up” thing but its like it wont “catch” to fire it. When its warmer temps it fires right up after like 2 presses of the button. What do you guys do with these bikes when its cold like mid 30s-low 40s? Im thinking a setting somewhere may need to be changed but have no idea where to look.

Are you using the mixture enrichener on the idle screw for cold starting?

No. Havent touched anything besides the idle because it was low. I push the yellow knob in.

A WPS featherlight or Firepower battery will help.

Twisted Development remap helped my bike start instantly also.

You need to be using the enrichener for those cold temp starts.
I know sometime in the past you made the inquire about a good battery, so what did you get. Is it LI ?

I leave mine on the charger/maintainer overnight. It keeps the battery warm enough to start the next day. If not I just use the enrichener and spin it over for 15 seconds then stop. Then repeat. Normally two or three times and it starts in 35 degree weather.
