Footpegs

Hey guys I’m in the market for some footpegs for my ‘11 YZ 250. The stock pegs are small and narrow. My buddy has a set of Turner pegs on his yz125 and I felt comfortable with those. I also was looking at Flo MotorSports and Torc1 Racing pegs. Any experience with these? Or what are your favorite pegs

I like the titanium raptor pegs I stay away from aluminum because I had a bad experience with one snapping after landing a jump ,but I've also used stock pegs and widen them and that's my current set up now cost me about $20 and after a quick sharpen with a file there as good as my raptor and al0t less money , may not look as cool or be as light but I'm not fast enough for that to matter

I run titanium Raptor foot pegs on my Husky and love them. Boots stick like glue to them and they are built really well.

The pegs that come on the 4-stroke YZ's and the newer 2-stroke YZ's are wider than the stock ones on the 2011. I have the wider OEM ones on my 2006 YZ's. I like them because they are cheaper than most aftermarket pegs and I don't really prefer how most aftermarket pegs are super sharp and kill boots.

I bought a pair of pro pegs for both my huskies. Worth every penny, and my feet stopped slipping off the pegs.

The 2011 factory pegs are titanium aren't they? If you'd rather sell them vs tossing them on the shelf or in the trash, I'd offer you some gas money for them....Wink

Yes, all Yamaha pegs interchange back to the mid 90s I think.

Yep.. lots of info on here from when we previously talked this. I have pegs from 2010 YZ250F on both my 2006 YZ125 and YZ250. They are the same height as the originals but much wider and stronger. If you use the 450 pegs they are 5mm lower, depending on what year. I believe Yamaha has gone back and forth on the 450 the last few years. I suspect the newer 2-stroke pegs (2015 + probably?) are the same height as the older 2-stroke pegs.

Thanks guys! I love the pegs on my 14 450 and was hoping I could put a set on a yz250

Mount them yet? I’d prefer the wider pegs over the titanium ones. Plus they seem to wear faster than the others. I’ve seen plenty of them have hairline cracks and I would NOT want to slice my leg open on one if it gives away.
