Fork preload washers

Have an 09 kx450 that I need to do fork seals on. Figured while I’m in there I’ll try out the preload washers racetech sent with my springs. Not sure where exactly they go. Do they just sit at the bottom of the lower tubes?

No, they typically go between the spring perches and the spring If they were at the bottom of the inner tube, in the lug, they would be hard to remove if they got stuck. As a result, they should be installed at the spring perch.
