KYB A KIT question?

Just bought a set of KYB A KIT forks with about 10hrs on them for my 17 Honda CRF450R. Went to install today, put forks completely even in clamps, and axle will not slide through bottom. It goes through if I lift up on left fork " brake side " and I can spin axle really nice if I continue to hold up bottom of fork. As soon as I let go of holding up bottom of fork, axle is super hard to turn, can only get axle to spin nice and free is if I push up on bottom of fork leg. And idea's? Thanks.

Also measured forks from top of caps, to top of axle hole. 1 measures 94.2 cm the other 93.5 cm which is about how much I need to lift.

The cartridges are multi piece and have been known to come unscrewed and that causes the leg to extend farther than normal. I can't say for sure, but you should take them apart for inspection or pay a professional to do it for you so you know what's going on.
