Just wondering if anybody has any tips on the numbers on A VIN and Engine, I have what I thought was a 2007 kx250 but it seems the sticker kit looks like the 06, just wondering if it's stamped into the vin no or engine number anywhere? Any help would be appreciated.

From what I found on google the 10th character should be the year, 6 2006 7 2007

If that is your KX250 in your picture those aren't the 06 graphics unless they were different in Australia, Mine is an 06 in my picture and those are the stock graphics for here in the US.

Thanks guys, I bought it as an "07" but it seems it's an 06 although it's registered as an 07 very weird.

The 06/07 are the exact same bike with a different vin number and decals. The 05 has a different shock, brakes, crank, etc.

Yours is 06/07

Sometimes bikes are registered as next year bikes. So it is an 07.

Actually, they are not exactly the same. There were several small changes...

forks, fork guards, hub color, graphics, etc.

And I think it had a different power valve than the 06. I had a 2007 kx 250 and a 06 service Manuel . It was not the same from what I remember
