Is it possible to remove nickel plating? My 125 has a fmf on it and it looks terrible and my buddy is wanting to shoot some pics of the bike here soon.

Yea its possible. Sand paper, sandblasting, etc will take it off. Not sure how good it will look after thi

You would have better results if you found a local plating company and asked them to chemically remove it. The plating company I use to work for had a specific production line specifically for removing plating.
