Pikes peak style hill climb bike setup

First off let me state that I have only raced motocross/off-road but there is a pikes peak style hill climb that I plan on doing for fun. It’s mostly gravel road, tight switch backs and long straights. Does anyone have set up tips or tire type to use for this type of event? I’ve thought about going moto front tire with a dual sport tire in the rear with taller gearing but figured I’d reach out first.

Take a look at motard or dirt track setups. If there aren't any jumps, you'll want to lower the bike as much as possible.
What bike are you setting up?

I’m setting up a Husqvarna FE350 I’ve got a 13-49 sprocket sizes on so on dirt roads I mainly stay out of 1st and 2nd
