I have been using Primary Drive chains for years on many bike and I have had very good luck and great life.

I just ordered another Mika Metals setup, I'm very happy with the original set I had. On top of that they were 40% off over the weekend.
I've had great luck with both chains and sprockets. Especially the chain though (gold x-ring). Mine last about a year until I feel the need to replace them, but they probably could go longer.
Wanted to ask about everyone’s experience with these guys’ stuff.
Normally i buy rental sprockets and a DID or RK gold chain. Have always had good luck with them.
I bought this stuff thinking I could save some money. The sprockets so far are ok. The chain itself has about 5 hours on it now. After the 2nd ride day and 2nd cleaning the masterlink clip popped off while riding and the gold finish is halfway gone. I noticed while installing the chain, a couple links were binding slightly as if they were pressed together a bit too much. Figured they would fix themselves after the chain broke in a bit. They got better but comparing it to the DID gold chain on my other bike it’s not really where it should be in my mind.
Overall the chain/sprocket set is exactly what you pay for I guess. Makes me feel better for shelling out $200 on a real set of them.
