Put reeds in stock cage?

Can you put aftermarket reeds in a stock OEM cage? I have a yz 125 and don't want to fork the bill for the whole aftermarket reed cage and reeds. Was wondering if u can put vforce, boyesen, etc.., the reeds itself in a stock cage.

You can get replacement reeds for OEM cage. I wouldn't expect aftermarket reeds to fit the stock cage though.

I just bought Boyesen pro series (carbon reeds) replacement reeds for my stock reed cage on the yz125.

Dont think you can do that with vforce reeds tho.
