RMX250 Cylinder stud question

Hey all, rebuilding my RMX250 I just got, and found I need a few studs. 1 that goes into the case from the cylinder, and 1 or more possibly for the cylinder head to the cylinder itself.

Is there a place that sells these? Haven't had much luck with old google finding them.

Check rockymountains oem parts section. Im sure they have some. Or call your dealership. Sometimes microfiches are hard to navigate.

Yours is a '94, right?

The one from Cylinder to head is 09108-08224. MSRP=$5.77.
The one from cases to cylinder is not listed in the EPC, but I would bet it is the same one. The only other stud I can find in the system in similar models is for a '96-'97 RM250: 09108-08227. The stud length is the same, so I'm not sure if it's a different thread pitch or what. Even that is also only for the cylinder to head juncture.

What year?

The 1994 microfische does not show them. As mentioned try a cylinder stud and see if they are the same.

$1.77 each from Motosport.

Part #5

Follow this link, and look at Fig. 1 (upper left) on the image provided. Cylinder base studs are items 11, 12, 13, 14. Cylinder head stud will be item 5.

Also, my local dealer has a complete 1989 RMX250 engine...locked up, but certainly has some good parts. Also, there's an 89-92 RM owners group on Facebook. Lots of parts interchange, so you might find some help there

Thanks! thats a great site it seems. A spare engine would be nice for sure. Especially beings its the same year. I planned on putting a power dynamo magneto kit in mine since it needs it. Is there a link to the engine itself? Ill use your link here to get the parts needed for mine though.

No links to the engine. The name of the dealer is Ray Gollan's Honda/Suzuki of Warren.

http://www.gollans.com/

Their phone number is: (330) 369-3700

Ask for Adam Gollan, and tell him your interested in the RMX250 engine that's in the back and that Leon told you about it
