Screw for clutch/brake

I've removed the OEM handguards from my Husqvarna TC125 -16 but now the screw that goes through the clutch/brake lever is too long and i cant seem to find the shorter version of the screw.

Am i missing something with the screw or is there a shorter version?

A hardware store or mcmastercarr should have the bolt you need. Take your old bolt in so you can find out what thread you need and get a shorter one. Youll probably want to look for a shoulder bolt. The OEMs use weird bolts for the levers.

Actually you might have luck looking at a ktm or husky that doesnt come with handguards stock and buy the bolt for that. I bet they have the same perches.
