I have been interested in swapping my forks from my 2012 crf450 to my 2015 crf450 being that they are spring and not air.

My question is will they fit properly and will I be able to run the front wheel on the 2012 axel?

Yes they will bolt right up. You just have to run the appropriate brake bracket as the lug changed in 15. Same axle/wheel setup though.
