Hi, I have a 2002 TTR125 and I just put the OEM carb back on it off another bike but the problem is, it keeps leaking fuel as if the float or something were stuck. I have cleaned the needle and cleaned and specifically made sure the float wouldn't stick but is there any ideas? Not sure if it affects it, but when I would get the bike started with starting fluid and give the slightest bit of throttle it would die. Thanks.

The stock carbs are known to be picky with set up. I put a new needle in my 05 to stop the leak and has worked perfectly since.

Your pilot jet may also be clogged. These bikes were jetted very lean right out of the box and they also had a very restricted air flow.

These carburetors are notorious for problems. Look up KX65 carb swap. I have done the carb swap and airbox mods and it really wakes the bike up and it runs much better. I had troubles with my stock carb as well. If your on a budget though try adjusting the float height. The little passageway In the bowl of the carb gets clogged easily and is hard to clean.
