I usually go with EBC, they held up well in my 2008 yamaha ttr 125 and went for a rest after 18,000 miles.
For my bike,$40 per a pair is expensive. So this time I want to have cheap brake pads replacement like Foreverun Motor.Have you heard this brand before ? Any good or bad reviews ?
Thank you.

I would think that several brands all come from one manufacturer. Pro Taper seems to have left the brake pad market and a few others as well recently.

Get OEM or get whatever has good reviews on RMATV, MOTOSPORT, or BTO. IMO Support the brands that support the sport. I have not heard of the brand you list.

Sheets of asbestos
Costs nothing and is available in abundant supply in dumped piles in most backroads.

You could also use anthrax during a race to make your competitors go away

Do you think the OEM actually does the R&D or do they source a brake pad manufacturing company? Like EBC, Wagner or Brembo similar to handlebars, wiring harness's, tires etc..... Often wondered that

Galfer has great pads, MotoStuff also has great options for brake parts.

I doubt OEM's do the R&D themselves , they pay a company to do it for them. OEM's will source out specific companies that specialise in a particular field, in this case brake pads. They go to said company, say to them, can you produce this for us. They will test it until the OEM is happy.

I reckon most, if not all of the parts are made by outside companies and the OEM's just assemble them. I've come across bearings for the suspension that are OEM protected, meaning they will only produce that bearing for Yamaha etc so you can only buy from Yamaha etc.

When the Vital crew go to the Japanese Nationals, in the pictures of the riders, you'll see loads of sponsors on their jerseys. Those sponsors are the manufactures that make the parts for the OEM's.

Hope that makes sense.

Yaa I definitely agree. Only post they've done. Also, if anyone on here got 18,000 miles on a pair of brake pads would you really bitch about spending $40 to replace them? I don't think so. Big ol spam sandwich being served up here...
