2013 kx250f. I have 95 hours on my bike on original motor and valves have never been clearenced. I don't know how they made it this long. My bike is just now starting to show signs that they need adjustment(I think). My bike will start in a few kicks at the beginning of the day but it won't idle for very long. Almost sounds like it wants to cut out every 5 seconds until it dies. Once I get it warmed up it will idle. But then it will get very difficult to start. I found that for some reason it will start when I give it gas as I kick. I don't understand though because it is fuel injected. Why is this? I also noticed once in a while when I kick the starter I feel like snap or something. Yes I have been pushing the starter to compression and then kicking. Could all this point to my valves or what's up with it? My bike seems fine when I ride though.
Check and or replace cam chain.
Check fuel pump and filter.
Clean fuel injector.

You do understand it's past time for a new top end and timing chain as well, correct?
