Will my 12 YZ 450 shock fit on my 16?

I have both a 12 and 16 YZ 450F and I was going to switch over the suspension from the 12 considering it is revalved and resprung for me. But my 12 shock has this weird part on the left side (I have no idea what it is). Will the shock still fit my 16?

No, whole different frame. Maybe change shock body, clevis. Easier to sell it and use the $$ to make the other shock correct.
