Updated: Stewart Crashes at Unadilla

Tuesday Afternoon Update: You can click here to see Kawasaki's press release saying that James will try racing next weekend in Thunder Valley.

Monster Energy Kawasaki's James Stewart crashed hard during the first practice Sunday morning at Unadilla. Heading into an uphill right-hander, it appeared that the rear end stepped out, followed by a quick highside that slapped him onto his back.

The crash left James on his back, with the wind knocked out of him.

He went off the track on a backboard (the practice was red-flagged), and he's been transported to a local hospital as a precaution, complaining of back and neck pain. We'll update you when we receive any updated news.
