American Suzuki Posts almost $11 million in Contingency for Motocross, Flat Track & Off Road Racing

BREA, Calif., (Nov. 7, 2006) – American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) announced that the company’s race contingency program will total almost $11 million for the 2007 season.  All Suzuki RM- and RM-Z-mounted riders competing in motocross, off-road and/or flat-track racing will be eligible to earn contingency.  Between these three disciplines, any Suzuki racer can compete in more than 700 possible events.  The 2007 ASMC contingency program begins Nov.1, 2006 and ends Oct.31, 2007.

“The Suzuki Contingency Program is designed to reward Suzuki racers for their dedication and hard work on their way to the top of the podium,” said Brian Noah, ASMC’s Motocross/Off-Road Contingency Coordinator.  “This year in motocross, Suzuki will be providing top-10 pay-outs in all classes for seven amateur nationals. The off-road program now includes the Texas Off Road Championship Series as well as the AMA National Enduro Series.  Considering Suzuki’s aggressive postings and the extensive events covered, every racer will benefit by racing a Suzuki.”

Contingency program participating racers will receive a 2007 contingency card and automatic deposits will be made to the card as racers earn money throughout the year.  Amateur riders can use their card at any authorized Suzuki dealership and Pro riders may use their card at any authorized Suzuki dealership, as well as anywhere Visa® is accepted.
