"FMX Riot 3" Goes Off in the Sand Dunes of Dubai!

Ronnie Renner Dominates – and “OG” Justin Homan Shocks the Field

(Dec. 20, 2006 – Malibu, CA) –   The massive, never-before-seen sand dunes of Dubai were the extraordinary locale for the latest in the award-winning “FMX Riot” natural terrain, freestyle moto-x competitions. Shot entirely in high definition for RushHD, Ronnie Renner battled tough conditions – deep sand, unchartered territory, massive gaps and even rain in the desert –as he pushed freeriding performance to new levels against a world-class field to earn the crown as champion of  “FMX Riot 3 – Dubai!”

“These guys went insanely huge and were throwing tricks, too -- impressive anywhere, but even more so when you realize they were doing this in dunes on the other side of the world,” commented Paul Taublieb, CEO of Media X International, Inc. (MXi) and creative producer of the “FMX Riot” series.

Renner charged from the outset, finding big gaps and riding with technical expertise.   But close on his heels through the rider-judged competition, and riding with ragged abandon, was the veteran “OG” Justin Homan.  Even a few hard diggers in the dunes didn’t slow down the Oregon native, who on return to the US found  he had re-dislocated his hip on the first day of competition,  though that didn’t stop him from riding throughout the event.

Behind Renner and Homan was a fierce see-saw battle, with trick throwing machine Todd Potter, young charger Jeremy Lusk and rising superstar Mike Mason each putting in high-scoring riding sessions at different times in the challenging, but breath-taking settings of skyscraper dunes, rock outcroppings and trains of camels trekking through the desert. Host Jesse Olson was also riding, finding many of the hits for the crew – and then hitting them first.

The crew also managed an intense snowboarding session – hitting the slopes at an indoor “mountain” in a mall -- only in Dubai.

“FMX Riot 3 – Dubai!” will premier in 2007 on RushHD, part of the Voom all HD network, and then will be released on DVD.  “FMX Riot – Duel in the Desert” and Xtremey Award-winning “FMX Riot 2 – Swingarm City” are both available from Impact Video (www.impactvideo.com).  Executive Producers of “FMX Riot” are Mark DeAngelis, Rob Faris and Greg Rossetti, produced by Paul Taublieb, co-producer Katie Silski, and directed by Chris Merritt.  Principal photography by Sean Aaron and Ryan Young.  Competition director is Dave Butts.
