Ti Lube Racing Back For 2007-2008 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series

Midwest-Based Team Features Racers Teddy Maier, Brad Ripple & Kurt McCabe

AURORA, Ill. (Oct. 31, 2007) – Rolling into Des Moines, Iowa, on Ti Lube Hondas for the opener of the 2007-’08 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series this weekend will be three racers capable of racing with the top competitors at any given race on the 19-round Toyota AMA Arenacross tour.

Led by Ft. Dodge, Iowa’s Teddy Maier and featuring proven Toyota AMA Arenacross Series talent in Brad Ripple (Crown Point, Ind.) and Kurt McCabe (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), this year’s Ti Lube Racing team has the ability to win races (Maier) and challenge for the podium as well.

New to the team this year will be an association with the southern California-based Moto XXX program, a well-known player in the AMA Supercross and Outdoor Nationals series.

“We have an excellent staff and Allan Brown from Moto XXX has helped us provide equipment to the riders that makes them capable of winning races,” said Ti Lube team owner Joe Murphy. “I’m looking forward to a great Toyota AMA Arenacross Series season.”

Heading up the all-important team manager position for the Ti Lube Racing team will be first year team manager Tony Wenck. No stranger to Toyota AMA Arenacross Series action with his syndicated “Pit Pass Radio” program, Wenck will handle the day-to-day management duties and guide the Ti Lube Racing team through out the competition season.

“I got involved with Ti Lube Racing to help grow the program,” said Wenck. “I think we are light years ahead of where the team was last year. We are already talking steps to improve for the 2009 season.”

For his part, Brown and his Moto XXX program is taking its first major step in marketing the engine work they’ve been successful with (Example: Kyle Lewis holeshots and Josh Summey top 10 finishes) and are looking to market the Moto XXX work at a grass roots level through the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series.

“After six years of improving the Honda CRF performance we are ready to branch out and market our performance packages to consumers,” said Brown. “And Moto XXX feels the Ti Lube Racing program is an ideal vehicle for us to accomplish this.”
