Been wanting an Adventure bike that's closer in size to the 450s that the Dakar racers pilot? Well, KTM might have the answer with their 790 Adventure. Based off their new 790 Duke, KTM has been working hard and we've seen peeks at this machine as they've gone after building a true mid-sized Adventure machine. For now a show bike, it should make production sometime by the end of the 2018 calendar year.

Many have dreamed of sitting behind a shield like this, bombing across the desert.

High end components, such as WP Cone Valve 48 motocross forks are present and although it has dual calipers, the rotors look smaller and more manageable for dirt use.

The 790 Adventure features its own chromoly-steel trellis frame and shock design.

Speaking of Dakar, KTM showed off their latest 450 Rally machine which they just did a warm-up Rally on ahead of the Dakar this January. This machine takes the latest moto technology and a slew of one-off technology to make one heck of a machine.

Custom X-Trig ROCS clamps, raised to fit the Scotts steering damper and still utilizing PHDS bar mounts. Plus, look at the two huge fuel tanks with a combined breather system.
