Matrix Concepts began as a college class project.
Plastic stands were part of the original business model that received a failing grade in a college course. However, Matrix Concepts continues to expand.
Eddie Cole had a big hand in helping his twin sons, Cameron (left) and Chadd (right) get Matrix Concepts off the ground.

The Matrix Concepts accessory line continues to grow.
This factory Penton (KTM) was raced by Eddie Cole himself back in the 1970s. Chadd recently had the machine restored for his father back to its original condition.
Matrix began with just a few products, but has expanded their line immensely in just a few short years.
The M8 and M6 bike ramps have an innovative brace to keep the ramp in place on the tail gate as you load your bike.
It has taken a while to get everything just right. All of the latice-type bracing on this ramp is the result of a lot of trial and error.
Shop mats were also one of the original Matrix products and continue to be one of their top sellers to this day.
Eddie has started several of his own companies (Answer, Pro Taper, and SixSixOne just to name a few), so his expertise goes a long way at Matrix.
The Matrix guys can customize a stand to have any look you want. Here is a rendering of some VitalMX graphics for the M2 Worx Stand.
A high end printer allows Matrix to do their graphics, for customers and teams, in house.

The shipping department is good evidence that Matrix Concepts continues to grow as a company.
Matrix Concepts works with distribution companies but also ships direct to the customer.
Worldwide sales? Not a problem. Matrix products have taken off and are in countries that many people couldn't even find on a map.

Matrix is a small company with big ambitions. With only a handful of employees, everyone wears a lot of hats.
While the basic design hasn't changed much since its inception, the M2 has gone through numerous upgrades.
Monster Energy Kawasaki was one of the first teams to work with Matrix Concepts, and they still do so to this day.
These stands we completed for the Monster Energy Kawasaki team while VitalMX visited, and were shipped out that same day destined for Jake Weimer and Tyla Rattray at Millville.
The Flip Stand is one of the latest additions to the Matrix lineup. Perfect for the weekend warrior, once flipped upside down, it doubles as a container for oil and lubricant bottles.
1.7 Cleaning Solutions was started this year and several pro teams are already using their products.
The 1.7 Hand Cleaner has sand-like grit mixed in to help clean up your greasy digits.
Here, Eddie poses in front the Answer booth at the company's first trade show. Answer was the first company in the Cole family. Chadd and Cameron Cole are continuing the legacy with Matrix and 1.7.
Malcom Smith and Bob Hannah are long time friends of Eddie's.
Located in Valencia, CA, Matrix Concepts is currently in it's second building location. The next move will literally be across the street in this much larger facility.
