Mike Alessi (MotoConcepts) had a DNF in the first moto, but kept things close in moto two.
For a bit it seemed like a moto that no one wanted to win, as James Stewart crashed out while leading. That handed the top spot to Michael Byrne, who was injured when he hooked his toe on a rut.

Ryan Dungey (Red Bull/KTM) didn't start off great, but made his way to the lead late in the moto.

You're listening to: Ken Roczen. He was pumped with his first moto win in the states, but was feeling funky afterwards.

Shorty had the early lead in moto two.
James Stewart crashed out and ended his day with a dislocated finger.
Ryan Dungey, dropping into Screw U.
The pit board says it all. But note Mike Alessi's board out there as well. He kept things close in moto two.
Your top three for the day: Dungey, Tickle, and Short.
The Red Bull/KTM crew gathered on the podium for a photo opp.

Eli Tomac was on the move.
The track was a bombed-out opportunity to get hurt, but the weather and spectating potential? Perfect.
Eli Tomac took over the top spot in moto two and pulled away to a win.
Justin Barcia was styling over the Sky Shot.
Jessy Nelson (Troy Lee Designs Lucas Oil Honda) was tenth overall and ninth in moto two.
