Leatt Adventure Brace

Leatt Adventure Brace

The long-rumored Leatt Adventure Brace is about to make its arrival into the U.S. After checking in with the guys at the Leatt USA headquarters, they told us that they're expecting a substantial quantity of the all-new braces just after Thanksgiving.

We got our hands on one of the first of the $195 Adventure braces to make it into the country. The guys over at Leatt might get a little nervous hearing us say it, but we were actually surprised at how good it looks…even when compared to the costlier Club ($395) and Sport ($595) models. It features the same glass-reinforced nylon material used in the mid-priced Club brace, minus the height adjustment adjustment to the front and rear tables. Also, the foam pads don't have the same Lycra covering the more expensive models, but throw on one of Leatt's Sock Kits, and you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between them.

The fit and feel of their entry-level brace is mostly the same as the more expensive braces, and it should be…it's pretty much exactly the same design, minus a few of the refinements on the expensive models (like the carbon fiber tables on the Sport brace).

If you've been sitting on the sidelines of a neck brace purchase while waiting to see how this one turned out, or you've been waiting for a less expensive version of the previous designs, we'd suggest your wait is nearly over. This one has the look and feel of a winner.
