TOP MOTOCROSS RIDERS MEET IN MADRID
Ryan Dungey, Tony Cairoli or Ken Roczen will take part in a competition with an innovative format:
Five riders for five lap races.

Never before in Spain we have seen the world’s best motocross riders taking part in the same competiton. Ryan Dungey, Tony Cairoli, Ken Roczen, or Jeffrey Herlings, among others, will compete on Saturday, 5th of October, at Red Bull Give me Five, a race with an innovative competition format: five riders for five lap races. Four world champions and two USA champions will fight at Motocross Madrid track, in Valdemorillo, to become the winner of this event which won’t disappoint anybody. Spain will be represented by Jonathan Barragán and José Butrón, motocross models in our country, and who will try to beat the sport’s world stars. The organization has invited eleven riders to take part in the event, the pending four plus a substitute will classify the same morning after a timed training session. Any rider who competes in Spain’s Motocross Championship can participate in the timed training session and aim to win a place to ride next to his idols.

The competition will begin with the quarter finals, in which the riders will set off in three groups of five to compete in five lap races. The first three of each group, will directly classify for the semifinals. The rider with the worst time will be knocked out, and the pending five will fight for the last place in the semifinal. The rider who wins this race will classify. In semifinals, the procedure will be similar. And after that round, only the top five will have classified to compete in the Great Final.

The circuit will be a combination of supercross and motocross and will have lots of lines to favour overtaking so the expectation will remain until the last moment. Riders such as Dungey, Roczen or Musquin will have an advantage point over the rest, as in their track record they have won in both disciplines.

After the professional riders, it will be the turn for the youngest ones. Ten 85 cc riders will compete in a similar way beginning in semifinals. The local star will be Jorge Prado. This Galician rider became two seasons ago the Europe and World youngest 65 cc Champion.
