Wow what an example Wilson is for slowing down to go fast. Pretty cool that each week this year he just relaxed, didn't worry about winning everything and has just steadily marched up the rankings.

Now he will have to get his mind right for going down some. If he finishes 6th next week it will be easy for him to get a bit down about it.

LOL. My kneejerk reaction is to wince at the cheesiness. But if it works, more power to him. And it's always smart to cultivate money on the side while you still have the name recognition to do it.

I think it is a good idea. If he sells 400 memberships he'll gross $100k which I've got to imagine will leave him a nice chunk of change after paying for the website, production of the videos, etc. and is very doable. I've never been a Deano super fan but I sure do admire what he has done this year.

He said on The Pulp Mx Show that a sports marketing person had come to him with this idea that other athletes have been successful with. I wonder how many other moto people will follow after this goes live.

If I had some cash to spare I might do it for the riding videos. He posts little teasers on his Instagram and they seem informative.

He initially got a lot of followers on that page by doing a lot of give aways and advertising it on his actual Instagram. Seems like a smart strategy.
