Hey guys I was driving the other day and saw a place with shipping containers probably hundreds of them looks like a place that sells them.
It reminded me of Baggetts place when he first started building.
Here's an idea let me know what you think. Buy a container, do it up like Baggetts, with doors, windows, AC, walls and insulation. Build your dream moto garage. If you ever have to relocate pick it up and take it with you. You can even strap the bikes downs and ship them too. Your entire moto operation at your new house without skipping a beat.

cheap (I'm guessing) differnet sizes, frees up house garage space for cars, and is lockable

I guess a big trailer could work the same but a trailer has more chance of getting gone.

That place wasn't on i85 in Gastonia was it? You can get the smaller one like bagget has for $1500 and the 48ft is like $2200

No it was in nc. As many people are doing things with containers theses days it could really be something. They have the sourcing, shipping, and converting figured out.

Sorry im originally from Georgia and for some reason that sounded familiar to Georgia. I'm in Eastern nc, this place was near beulaville nc. $1500 to $2200 is cheaper than even a small enclosed trailer.

Haha, it's a great place but i have heard many jokes about it. The best I heard was if you need a kidney removed don't go to the doctor just go to Gastonia and someone will cut it out for you. Anyway the container idea is great, we have 10 at our shop full of stuff and they are easy to move

Yea, I live just a mile from the SC line off 321. I met you last year at the gp in Charlotte, I was right in front of you and talked to you for a min.

Sorry to hear about what you have been going through, I have been praying for you

Funny part is at one point Blake's plan was that after his new building and race shop were complete he would have this shipping container mounted onto a truck so that if he was going to a different track around the Florida area to practice or train for a few days he would have his mobile race shop with him. The container now holds tools and gas instead.

I can see at some point building a full garage and selling or re purposing the container. But for a young person or someone that moves a lot this is a solution to having that nice garage now. Not having to wait till your 30 40+ to find a more permanent house to build your garage.
Splurge on the cabinets and equipment and not worry about having to leave it behind one day.

This one is 2 containers together but you can imagine just one.
