Rm250 crankcase issue

Hi guys,

I have recently got my crankcase welded up and we had an issue with knowing what this part here is. It broke off and looked like there was meant to be a hole there so the fella left a hole there. Looking at it now i know there isn't meant to be so just checking to see if i am correct before i plug it up.

I'm not a mechanic but I have an RM250 and know of no hole that should be right there.

I have owned a few RM’s from 98-07 and I have never had a hole in that area...

I just went out an looked at my 05 RM 250, just a little recess in the case where that part in the picture would be, but no hole in the crankcase and definitely don't have that funny looking little part on my bike. What year is that?

If you don't want to take everything apart again and weld the case JB weld should fill in that hole nicely

I know this is a rm but FWIW That holes where my clutch cable goes on my yz
