I’m sure you guys noticed the TLD ktm guys running different liveries between motos. And it got me thinking.
Would outside sponsors maybe be more interested if teams switched up bike liveries between motos or races during the season? For example, sponsor A wants to get their name on the bikes but maybe doesn’t want to pay for an entire season. Allowing them to get the logos on the bike for a few motos or a few races a year would allow for the sponsor to get their logo and name on the bike, but also allow the team to gather more sponsors and therefor $$$.
Maybe this has already been tried and didn’t work or maybe I’m just crazy LOL. Probably never gonna happen but just a thought!

In Unlimited Hydroplanes, it was common for a sponsor to be involved for just 1 race, but those are (were) big billboards. The restaurant I managed sponsored one every year on Clear Lake in Houston TX.
