I tortured myself for an hour and a half watching "Kill the Irishman". The lead actor was a total zero but you would think that having Chris Walken and Val Kilmer would have lifted it a bit but no. They had the usual cast of gangster type casts which should have helped. The only thing that kept me in it was that it was a true story. I realize that the movie is 8 years old but you have to dig to find any good movies on Netflix.
Somebody paid 12 million for that turd.

It was terrible. Don’t do it.

I saw it on iMax and holy crap it was good! That first 10minute one-shot scene was incredible. The claustrophobia in the German trenches was unreal. Definitely best film I’ve seen since Green Book.
What I enjoyed the most was the realism, it felt like I was there. The sound of the guns, the reloading, the subtleness... could go on forever. So far from a Hollywood movie. In fact, I reckon Hollywood shoudn’t be allowed to make war movies at all, they mess it up every time to please history-less Billy Bob sipping his Mountain Dew
Last one I went to see was Ad Astra.....that was a complete steaming pile of dog doo.

It was one where you keep telling yourself it is going to get better, then toward the end, you make yourself watch all of it.
