350 vs. 450

I got a 21.5 Kaliub Russel edition used with 20 hours. Did a vortex to help with flameouts and heat in the tight stuff. It's really a rocket ship when you flog it.

They're really smooth off the bottom so they're easy to ride. But compared to a 450 I think people assume they are way down on power or won't lug. That's okay more 350's for the rest of us!

Spent 10 years on 450s then got too old to hold on. Been on a 2018 FC350 for 3 years now. The lower torque at low RPMs makes it less tiring, and when you want to go faster just twist it. Stupid fast in 3rd gear up top. So fast that I almost never hit 4th on any track here in the PNW. The light weight, great turning, and smooth power make it a great Vet bike. I holeshot or top 3 start a LOT on it too. PiR, Washougal, Albany, dirt or concrete starts against no shortage of 450 bikes.
